Paint the school (No.1) : Laempanwa School, Phuket
After the first school “Cape Panwa School” was transformed from a dull wooden building into a delightful pink building, the hospital plans to paint the second school soon. “All painters are physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and their families. We asked them to put down the scalpel and pen, and pick up the paint brush instead. And I think they did a pretty good job.” said Piyanooch Ananpakdee, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager, of Bangkok Hospital Phuket.
“I have got a few phone calls from schools after they saw our project in the papers. We have to go out and check those schools to see if the school really needs our help. We still have not made a decision, yet. If any school thinks it deserved to be painted or repainted, please contact Bangkok Hospital Phuket at 1719 and ask for Piyanooch. And if anyone wants to go out and do something fun and good for community, you are very welcome to join us.” Piyanooch added.
