Tooth coloured fillings can be used to repair problems with either front or back teeth. Most of the materials for these white fillings are made of resin.
In front teeth, these fillings are used to repair dental decay, erosion or abrasion problems. In back teeth, white fillings can be used to repair small decay or erosion problems, or replace the silver fillings to looks just as if the tooth had no filling at all. For more severe problems, these fillings may not be the best solution, and we may need to use porcelain veneers, ceramic inlays, crowns and bridges. These fillings can sometimes be used to repair “sensitive” teeth. |
