"Come vacation in Phuket and return home with clear vision"
LASIK refractive surgery is widely recognized as a safe and effective means of correcting near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism. It has been accepted worldwide as a valid permanent alternative to glasses or contact lens wear and over two million people undergo the procedure each year with satisfying results.
LASIK can be both effective and affordable. Many find that the cost of replacing glasses and contact lenses can, over years, easily exceed the cost of LASIK Surgery Newer technologies, such as Wavefront, Eyetracking, and Iris Recognition, have made the surgical correction not only safe but also highly accurate and very reliable. In fact, the one-time LASIK procedure an be healthier for the eyes than decades of uncomfortable contact lens wear.

Presbyopia
Presbyopia is a loss of flexibility of the crystalline lens of your eyes that causes a gradual progressive decrease in focusing ability. The loss of focusing ability results in an inability to see near objects and thus blurs your vision for near tasks such as reading. Presbyopia typically becomes noticeable between age forty and fifty and progressively worsens through age sixty-five. Currently there are 2 types of corneal laser eye surgery to correct Presbyopia and/or near vision: Monovision and Multifocal.
1. Monovison, is the correction of Presbyopia and/or near vision: one eye-usually the dominant eye-is corrected for distance vision and the other eye is corrected for near vision. Depending on the distance trying to see, your brain will again “select” the focus image and provide you with an approximation of concise-seamless vision. Statistically 1 in 10 people may not be satisfied, so your eyes should be stimulated by using glasses or contact-lens before operation.
2. Multifocal, is the correction of Presbyopia and/or near vision, which reshapes the cornea having multi-focus ability to provide far and near vision concurrently. However your brain must need 1-3 months to learn to “select” certain images and “suppress” other images depending on what you are trying to see. This requires some level of adaptation for most patients.
Type for eye sightedness correction
Note:
- The difference between PRK and LASIK is how to shape the cornea. Microkeratome is used to create a flap for LASIK Surgery
- PRK is a proper procedure for only person whose cornea is not thick enough to create the flap for a LASIK Surgery
- The proper type for sightedness correction is advised by an ophthalmologist after complete eye examination
