International Conference
2012 International Conference on Trends in Emergency, Trauma, and Disaster
Nursing: Using evidence to guide decision-making and improve nursing care
As a part of collaborative activities to strengthen the research, education and practice between Faculty of Nursing, Prince of Songkla University and other institutions in Thailand and oversea, the international conference is then setup. The theme for this 1st International Conference on Trends in Emergency, Trauma and Disaster Nursing is “Using evidence to guide decision-making and improve nursing care”. This is an opportunity to examine recent trends in emergency, trauma and disaster nursing and consider how we use evidence to inform our nursing decisions, guide nursing care and prepare our profession for the future. The demands for emergency, trauma, and disaster nurses are growing and our profession is continuously evolving to meet the needs of the communities we care for. This international conference will bring together several experts in emergency, trauma and disaster nursing with the aim of challenging our thinking and stimulating discussion about current and future trends in our specialty.
The Conference Committee looks forward to welcoming national and international speakers and delegates to Phuket, Thailand in April 2012. Not only is this a great chance to join your colleagues at this exciting conference, you can also enjoy Thai food, culture and hospitality while taking in the spectacular scenery that this stunning tropical island has to offer.
